TOPOLOGISMS

TOPOLOGISMS presents a collection of screenshot photographs from THWRB3AT, using geospatial data to document the topological aesthetics of European railway infrastructures and its implicit geometries.
This monographic work showcases over 120 photographs of railway networks, including stations, depots, interchanges and industrial terminals.
The publication is prefaced by Professor Harry Breda-Beck, whom examines the morphotopological and aesthetic properties of contemporary transport infrastructures. An essay by Nicolas Ciarlone offers conceptual perspectives on the role of transport infrastructures and sociotechnical systems in our understanding of our build environment and unauthorized art practices.
